Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers is fortunate to have a group of members who provide a service to supply the need for beekeeping equipment in the area. This service is provided by the wholly owned, arms length business, Claro Bees Limited.
Claro Bees has a well stocked shop that is located adjacent to the RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
Beekeeping Supplies
Claro Bees maintains large stocks of most everyday beekeeping equipment including hive parts, frames, foundation, smokers, hive tools and much more besides. Beekeeper clothing including gloves, suits and veils are available for you to try on before you buy.
A range of feed and bee health products including fondant, Neopoll, MAQS, Apiguard and Api-Bioxal are also stocked.
Prices at Claro Bees are generally below list prices and any profits made accrue to HRBKA.
Advice
One of the benefits of shopping at Claro Bees is that there are always experienced beekeepers on hand to help with any beekeeping queries or problems that you may have.
Opening Times
For 2019, Claro Bees is open on Saturdays from 9.00am until 12.30pm between 9th March and 26th October inclusive, with the exception of 22nd June when Claro Bees will be closed due to the RHS Garden Harlow Carr Flower Show.
Claro Bees will also be open on Saturday 7th December for fondant and winter varroa treatment collection.
Payment
Claro Bees now accepts payment by cash, cheque or credit card.

Claro Bees is located adjacent to RHS Garden Harlow Carr on Crag Lane, Harrogate, HG3 1QA. Drive down Crag Lane past the entrance to the gardens, then turn left. Claro Bees is on the right towards the bottom of the hill. Free car parking is available.
