Claro bees has a full stock of Fondant and Pollen Enhanced Fondant (Candipolline) for your colonies as well as FREE SUGAR FOR SPRING FEED. (While stocks last.) Jars and honey buckets are available for your new season honey as well as all other normal stock items

We are always looking for new volunteers to help out at Claro Bees Ltd.

There are plenty of benefits in return for giving a few hours of your time and energy at Claro Bees, where you will be helping us provide a valuable and much needed service to our customers. You don’t need to be an experienced beekeeper to volunteer – newer members can gain knowledge and insight from experienced beekeepers at the same time as getting to know your fellow beekeepers!

Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers Association is fortunate to have a group of members who provide a service to supply the need for beekeeping equipment in the area – and beyond! Claro Bees Limited provides that service.

Claro Bees has a well-stocked shop at a fantastic new location in Killinghall, near Harrogate. In November 2024, after more than two decades at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, Claro Bees relocated to its new site, where it continues to welcome customers from near and far.

Beekeeping Supplies

Claro Bees maintains large stocks of most everyday beekeeping equipment including hive parts, frames, foundation, smokers, hive tools and much more besides. Beekeeper clothing including gloves, suits and veils are available for you to try on before you buy.

We also stock a range of spring and winter feeds including fondant, Candipolline Gold and Invertabee pouches.

Bee health products stocked include MAQS (subject to availability), Apiguard and ApiBioxal.

All of our timber beehive stock is compatible with British National Hive (BN) dimensions. Claro Bees Ltd maintains large stocks of standard quality hive components and frames, enabling large savings to be made.

Our aim is to keep adequate stock of all this equipment, together with BN foundation and other popular equipment and accessories. Because we buy in bulk, we are often able to supply during seasonal shortages.

We also supply Paynes poly hives and nucleus boxes along with other associated poly products.

For less common items, including – Best quality BN cedar woodwork; non-BN woodwork, frames, and foundation; books and other selected lines, only small amounts of stock may be held.

If you are travelling a long distance or particularly want such an item, you are advised to email the shop (clarobees.shop@gmail.com) in advance to check stock levels. Many of these items will not be restocked once sold out.
