Please follow the link and sign the petition to stop the importation of bees
These imported bees can possibly bring the Small Hive Beetle with them which is a pest we don’t wont in the UK
Founded in 1921, Harrogate and Ripon Beekeepers Association is an independent association of beekeepers, with a history spanning 100 years, that has grown to over 350 members. It is a registered charity, with a commitment to teach new beekeepers and educate the wider public about bees and beekeeping, through interactions in schools, shows and demonstrations.
We have association-owned apiaries in Harrogate and Ripon, where we hold Taster Days. We also give public demonstrations from our apiary in Harlow Carr Gardens and at our summer events in Fountains Abbey.
